What happened to Albert Pujols?

There are a lot of huge stars that seem to have fallen off the radar. I understand that injury has to a lot to do with it, but sometimes it doesn't.
Albert Pujols comes to mind because he was supposed to be the next great thing and he hasn't done a whole lto in a while. And what about Ryan Howard? He was on pace to break every record that ever existed, now he is not even in the top 2 for homeruns on the Phillies.
I see a trend.
The utility guys are the popular ones now. Chase Utley leading the league in HR's? Speed and accuracy are seeming more and more important in baseball, and power is not as important.

What game are you watching?

Albert Pujols is the best player in the game or at least on par with A Rod. On base every game this season. Walked at a pace that would make Bonds and Ruth blush. 100 RBIs and 30 home runs (at least) in every season. No player in history has done that. Just because Cardinals highlights air after the first commercial break on Sports Center (after the Yankees, Red Sox, Danica Patrick, Who's Now?, etc.) doesn't mean he isn't becoming a legendary player. You need to wake up!
